Looking for a web designer

Our webmaster, Judy Bell is ready to pass the baton after her many years of volunteer service for SofTECH. Though I never met Judy, I have virtually conversed with her on a monthly basis since my involvement with SofTECH a couple of years ago. Her  professionalism, willingness to share her knowledge and lightning quick turnaround of site updates has been instrumental to our success. Thank you, Judy! JBell Designs

Are you interested in helping us give SofTECH a makeover? Our site is hosted by ClubExpress so the ideal person would be someone with html knowledge and design skills who could work within the contraints of the sytem and develop a consistant look and feel for meeting pages, announcements, emails, etc. If you're interested please contact John Melendez.

The Team Effectiveness “Learning Lab”
An interactive exploration of what drives teams crazy (and what to do about it)

May 22, 2013 6:30 pm - 8:45 pm
San Rafael Corporate Center, 750 Lindaro Street San Rafael

Every team has the capability to achieve extraordinary performance results.
So why do so few ever realize this potential? We know why.

An engaging introduction to some of the fundamental challenges associated with how teams make decisions and how they can be overcome. We’ll examine your brain through the lens of neuroscience research to understand its strengths and limitations, then relate it back to specific challenges pertaining to creativity, roles, change, team processes and trust. Instead of a lecture format, we’ll use an experiential “learning lab” approach, allowing you to test some of these theories out for yourself using interactive activities. We’ll wrap up with a creative debrief discussion to synthesize the “Ah-Ha” moments into specific actions to start working on TODAY.

Workshop will cover…
  • Key insights from “Your Brain at Work” by David Rock
  • Group decision making choices and challenges
  • Interactive exercises to experience how you actually think under pressure
  • Suggestions for transforming your team’s performance effectiveness
